How to connect the tools
Everything runs through one address: https://mcp.beckmann.ai.
Enter it once in your AI app, sign in briefly via the browser — and from then on your
assistant can use every tool you've subscribed to. No download, no installation.
First: subscribe to a tool
Head to the MCP marketplace, pick a tool and click “Add to my toolset” (a free account is all you need). Manage your subscriptions anytime under My MCP Server.
Option 1: claude.ai (website & apps)
- Open settings In claude.ai, click your name bottom left → “Settings” → “Connectors”.
- Add a connector Click “Add custom connector” and enter
https://mcp.beckmann.aias the URL. - Sign in A browser window opens: sign in with your beckmann.ai account and confirm. Done.
Option 2: Claude Code (terminal)
A single command:
claude mcp add --transport http beckmann-ai https://mcp.beckmann.ai
On first access, Claude Code walks you through the browser sign-in. Removing it is just as
easy: claude mcp remove beckmann-ai.
Option 3: ChatGPT
- Enable developer mode In ChatGPT: Settings → “Apps & Connectors” → switch on developer mode.
- Create the connector Add a new connector and enter
https://mcp.beckmann.aias the URL. - Sign in Confirm the browser sign-in with your beckmann.ai account. Done.
The 10-second test
Subscribe to the Hello World tool and ask your assistant:
“Call the hello_world tool and show me the reply.”
If “Hallo Welt” comes back, everything works. You can unsubscribe the test tool afterwards.
If something's stuck
- Tool doesn't show up? Check under My MCP Server whether it's subscribed — then refresh the connection in your client: an existing connection picks up toolset changes only after reconnecting.
- “Dieses Tool ist nicht mehr verfügbar. Melde dich bitte erneut an.”? The tool was removed from your toolset while the client was still using the old connection. The server locks that session for safety — simply reconnect (sign in again) and your current toolset applies.
- No sign-in window? Briefly allow pop-ups and connect again.
- Client says “unauthorized”? Remove the connection in the client and add it again — the browser sign-in then starts fresh.
